Isaiah 58 calls its hearers to give up false practices of worship and piety so that they can work on more important matters of justice and faith. Jesus heeded this prophetic call, and he invited his followers to do the same, to lean to say 'No.'

Using Adam Hamilton's "Love to Stay," I present some tips for sticking together in relationships. There are huge disruptions in our lives: careers, children coming and going, and retirement. Amid these stressful changes, couples and friends can grow together.

In my third sermon on Love, Sex, & Relationships, bad habits are explored in relation to scripture. Abuse, addiction, and adultery are the leading causes of divorce. There are ways to avoid these pitfalls.

God created sex to be a good part of creation, but we've let society turn it into a product, something we try to acquire for our personal pleasure or bragging rights. But sex has more meaning that society says it does. Sex is meant to be a holy act between two people who are committed to one another, a way to serve one another, create new humans, and know each other at our most vulnerable, personal levels.

God says it's not good for humans to be alone, and from the beginning, we're calling into committed relationships. Pastor Brad explores how to make committed relationships, especially marriages, work in the ways that God wants. This means considering what's good for others instead of just seeking out what's good for ourselves.
