As we begin our Lenten Journey on this Ash Wednesday, we are reminded how Jesus was tempted and yet overcame temptation. How often do we rely on our own self-omnipotence rather than following the example and life of Jesus.

What happened to God? Is the deal still on? Yes! He who began the good work WILL complete it.

As Christians we have the promise and hope of eternal life. The challenge is to trust in God's timing and to live each day that He gives us with the energy, passion, and drive that He expects and deserves.

If we look for peace as the world defines it, we will never find it; however, God wants to give us a greater peace - his Shalom - what does that look like and how do we find it?
