Paul, progressing in his exhortation of the Saints at Ephesus. He picks up the same line of thought of prayer, reminding us of his dependance on God. He began with an invocation (14a), describing his heart's disposition before God. That of utter, humility, worshipful-reliance on Supreme majesty of God. This demands for a realized essence for our creation. Paul unveils his high view of God (v.14b– 15). Implied herein are three (3) values: (a) that prayer is primarily, family-oriented activity; b) that the Father is the identifier and definer of the family. He is the source, the creator and definer of who belongs into His household. Finally, c) that we must maintain the confident communion with God that's rooted and flows from our identity. In response to this, the must be: i) an individualized submission so God the Father. ii) foster corporate–family unity and iii) participate in continuance remembrance of our Christ – the intercessor. Until He comes.
