One of the first questions we ask someone we meet is “what do you do?” Many of us define ourselves by what we do. Our work gives us meaning and purpose. While we might not think of it this way, our work becomes an idol - something we put in the central place in our lives, that place reserved for Jesus. In this message, Matt discusses “the idol of work” and looks at what Paul’s life as a tentmaker can teach us about the place of work in our faith and God in our work.
