Shezad Baloch, a seasoned journalist in Pakistan and now resident in Madison, grew up in Balochistan, Pakistan, the country’s largest and least populated province.
Shezad has been with WORT's World View in the past to explain the Pakistani government’s relationship with Balochistan and how the province’s natural resources are a draw for international exploitation.
Now the US government is cozying up to Pakistan and has held talks with Pakistan’s powerful military as US relations with the country’s perennial rival, India, deteriorate. Gil Halsted and Amitabh Pal explore these new relationships and what they might mean with Shezad Baloch.
