One thing I love about this podcast is that I get the chance to share other's stories that might impact your life. I learned about Jessica through a mutual friend, Christine. My friend told me about her current journey as a single woman and I thought it would be a great person to interview for an episode. Jessica is so wise for her age. She's using this season of her life and turning it into a journey full of joy and contentment.

Our God is a generous God. Like any parent, He loves giving His kids things that make them happy. One of those things is promises. Did you know that God can't lie? It's completely against His character. So when He places a promise over your life--you can know without a doubt He will fulfill it. On this podcast I share a few promises God gave me along with how I reacted when others told me they might not happen.

God promised we would face many trials in our lives. Why? Because we live in a sinful world. But God also uses those hard moments to shape us into the Godly women we are supposed to be. the Bible says Satan is like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Satan came to kill, steal and destroy. That includes destroying Godly relationships and marriages. Before you even commit to being in a relationship with a guy you need to identify if there are any red flags. You're not being paranoid, you're being smart. God wants the best for you, ladies. Here are some red flags to look for in a guy you're interested in.

Many of us are looking at our circumstances and asking God why? Why is this happening to me? Why is this happening to my family? Why do I have to face this situation? No matter what we're facing we should be asking God what? It's painful to go through this life because of the sinful world we live in. We have to face so many sad moments and often feel unequipped to handle them. Let's ask God a different question about our circumstances.

Every January, many churches join a 21-Day fast. It's a way to give God the first of your year. Fasting allows you to grow closer to God while praying for a breakthrough in your life. There are times I've fasted and my prayers have been answered. There have been other times when God has answered them a little differently from what I was expecting. None the less, fasting has a way of changing your heart and provide clarity for your future.

This episode was inspired by a new song "Voice of God" sung by worship singers Dante Bowe, Steffany Gretzinger and Chandler Moore. They released an amazing song a few months back but I'm just now listening to it. The song has been on repeat in my house for a few days and I was inspired to talk to you about hearing God. I've heard God many times throughout my life. He has spoken to me in many ways --often when I'm silent.

We often find ourselves still stuck on our past regrets even when God has made it clear that we are new. It can be a struggle to forget and even forgive ourselves. I talk about a time when I was single where I felt the heaviness of my choices creep back into my mind. I wasn't perfect, but god used that moment to remind me to use those regrets as a testimony for others to hear.

I dive into the meaning behind the title for my podcast and what I hope you gain from listening to each episode.
