Worthy of Rescue-Pursued by God

EPISODE 6 - Living Hope

Today I want to focus on the truth that there is a Living Hope available to you!

1 Peter 1: 3-9

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Spiritual Blessings in Christ

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of

We explore the tapestry of influences that contribute to our sense of self, from family and friends to media and authority figures.

Yet, amidst these voices, we often grapple with fundamental questions about our identity and belonging: Who am I? and to Whom do I belong?

Deceitful whispers from our past mistakes and circumstances may try to convince us that we are alone, worthless, or unworthy of redemption.

However, we challenge this narrative by examining the creation story in Genesis 1:27, where humanity is made in the image of God.

Understanding that we are made in God's unique image empowers us to explore His plans and purposes for our lives, both on earth and into eternity.

Despite our flaws and past errors, God's perfect love
