Worthy Words Theatre

A musical audio drama packed with boozing, shootouts, ragtime tunes, and (potentially) cannibalism! Rhyme Rustler: The Ballad of Robert Service tells the story of that great Klondike chronicler.

Robert Service was a Scottish poet who spent several years in the frozen Canadian north, writing ballads and epic tales of the Yukon gold rush.  This play includes some of Service's best-known poems, including "The Cremation of Sam McGee", "The Shooting of Dan McGrew", and "The Ballad of the Iceworm Cocktail".

Listen to discover what it is like to go mad as you endure the frozen north! Suffer, starve, and triumph! Become a true sourdough!

🎹 Rhyme Rustler was written and performed by Jim Dobbin and Grant Paterson.
🎙️ The show was recorded and edited by Seamus Dobbin.
