In 1890 250-300 Lakota Sioux, mostly women and children were killed by American soldiers. At the time this event was called a battle and even hailed as a great victory. This so called last battle of the Indian Wars however has since been labeled a massacre. I revisit this tragic tale with a new recording and some additional research.
