I'm pulling back the curtain on this one.  Almost exactly 14 years before he passed, I had a phone interview with Gilbert Gottfried.  I rolled tape from the second we were connected.  We only had a ten-minute slot booked with him, but you'll hear me take the first minute to do a little pre-interview with him to assure the interview went well.  I wanted to share this with you in its entirety today, mainly so you can catch a rare glimpse (at the start) of the kind, soft-spoken man that he was when not performing performing.  But please enjoy the whole thing.  Safe home, Gilbert.
