Cody Rhodes is bringing in massive ratings for WWE ahead of his highly anticipated WrestleMania main event match against Roman Reigns. According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Rhodes' recent promo segment with Sami Zayn on Monday's episode of Raw drew in 2.08 million viewers and did a 0.53 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic, making it the highest-rated quarter-hour of the show.
This comes after Rhodes was involved in the highest-rated quarter-hour of Raw the previous week, when his promo with Paul Heyman drew 2.027 million viewers. These numbers suggest that Rhodes is a major draw for the company.
The name Cody Rhodes is synonymous with excellence in the world of professional wrestling. The son of late WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, Cody made his mark in WWE from 2007 to 2016, capturing two Intercontinental Championships and six Tag Team Championships.
But Cody was more than just a good-looking wrestler with a charming personality. He was a force to be reckoned with, armed with a dangerous arsenal of moves and a deep understanding of the sport. Throughout his WWE career, Cody took on some of the biggest names in the business, including Randy Orton, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, and many others.
After leaving WWE to pursue other opportunities, Cody made a stunning return at WrestleMania 38 as Seth Rollins' surprise opponent, selected by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon. This was just the beginning of Cody's comeback, as he went on to defeat Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash and put in a courageous performance in a Hell in a Cell match, despite a torn pectoral muscle.
Cody's return to WWE has been nothing short of triumphant. He proved his worth when he heroically returned from injury to win the Men's Royal Rumble Match in 2023, cementing his status as one of the top wrestlers in the world. The American Nightmare is back, and the WWE Universe is once again in awe of his skills and determination.
