It's Episode 54 & another special solo edition, with some in-person audio from our latest WRESTLING CLUB event last week at the Scratch + I take you behind the wizard's curtain once more! As we've somehow gotten to 1 YEAR of my travelling art-carny life of hawking my art-wares all across this fair great southern land! I discuss everything that goes into the in-person events part of my art life; the planning, the logistics & most importantly, THE FEELS! I figure this might be interesting for any listeners who might be considering selling their art at your local markets, but also anyone who has an interest in what this life looks like.

For the Wrestling Club portion of the episode, I was greatly appreciative of my mate & card-carrying club-member, Joe for recording some of the proceedings for us. We hear from previous episode friends-of the-show Joe, Faz & Bradley in what ended up what I felt to be a very fun evening had by all.

I originally got to meet Erik through getting to be part of his & Luis Hernández' amazing Desde la Tercera Cuerda Lucha Libre group art exhibition at El Rule Comunidad in Mexico City. I've long been a fan of Erik's work so I was way pumped to finally get to talk to him all about it! Bright, bold, super-fun, maximalist & just totally jam-packed in the best of ways! We chat about how he originally chose to focus his art practice on Lucha Libre, the evolution of his style, influences, the magic of Lucha Libre, favourite masks & everything in between! As a lucha-loving Australian gringo, I had so much fun on this one!! Thank you Erik!!
