Wrestling Cheers Speakeasy

Tag Team Month continues on the Juicy Details as I go back to interviewing tag teams. In this case on episode 48, I interview one of the most unique, strange and controversial tag teams to grace the independent wrestling teams in quite some time. They are half of a larger stable known as The Submission Squad, Evan Gelistico and Pierre Abernathy.

I start the interview by asking how the two initially met each other. From there we discuss how The Submission Squad came to be, including later on adding Gary Jay and Davey Vega into the mix. We also discuss there favorite tag teams to work with, traveling all around the country together, the infamous night at Chikara's King of Trios 2009, some of their goals for the next few years and much more.

It also quickly breaks down at the end to where both members nearly kill each, so I am definitely filing under one of the more crazier interviews done here on The Juicy Details

Tag Team Month rolls on here on The Juicy Details as on episode 46 I have on another wrestler who is considered by some a tag team specialist. Joining me is Minnesota's own tag team wrestling and slow motion specialist, Darin Corbin

We start off by discussing how he became a fan of pro wrestling at a young age, favorites growing up, training to become a wrestler at age 19, early years of wrestling, traveling, Chikara, working with Great Sasuke and how the slow motion gimmick came about.

We then go into the topic of tag team wrestling, does Darin have a preference between tag team and singles wrestling, his favorite tag teams of all time and today, his dream partner, and much more.

Darin plays a quick round of Juicy Association going in depth about his tag partners from over the years. The names given are:

-Marion Fontaine -Arik Cannon -Ryan Cruz -Sean Waltman

Juicy Details has made it's way onto Kayfabe Sports Radio. This should make for an excellent partnership (or one that will fail in about a month). Anyways for those who don't know, My name is Juicy Pat Lucey. Each episode I interview professional wrestlers to discuss their careers and get some Juicy Details (HENCE THE NAME!).

Each month I have a theme to the show. This month: Tag Team Wrestling. On episode 45 I have on a wrestler who is well known as being a tag team specialist, having been in multiple tag teams throughout his career. On this episode of The Juicy Details I interview Mid-West standout Davey Vega

We start the interview with discussing how Davey has come about being known as "underrated" in the wrestling ring. From there we discuss how he became a fan of pro wrestling, his favorites growing up, training to become a wrestling, influences in the ring, growing up in the Cleveland area and moving to St. Louis, his thoughts on Tag Team Wrestling, his favorite tag teams, a dream partner for him, and much more.

We also play a round of "Juicy Association", which for new people is where I name off names of other wrestlers that the guest I have on has worked with and knows, they then have to say the first word that pops into their head that describes the person I name off, which usually leads to some sort of story (embarrassing stories are my favorite)

The names I chose for Davey are as follows: -Pierre Abernathy -Evan Gelistico  -Gary Jay -Athena -Mat Fitchett
