The second half of 1990 for FMW starts with the first ever explosion death match, Onita going to Puerto Rico for an ugly angle with Jose Gonzalez, the women of FMW finding their place, Mike Awesome and Victor Quinones, more blood, more brawls, more gimmicks and maybe the best first full year a promotion could ever hope for.

1990 saw FMW burst onto the scene with some Tokyo Sports Awards. Kurisu, Kendo Nagasaki, Ricky Fuji and finally Mr. Pogo debuted to challenge Onita. Bahu also talks about the talent exchanges with the Mexican promotions and Red Bastein.

This year was so wild it had to be separated into 2 parts.

1989 saw the first shows that would be under the "FMW" banner. We discuss the first two shows in Nagoya and Tokyo headlined by Aoyagi vs. Onita, the early FMW roster, FMW's December tour, the first hardcore and deathmatches featuring barbed wire, Dick Murdoch, FMW's split from WKA and much more as we lead into 1990.
