Plus, LA Knight defends his Million Dollar Championship for the first time...against Cameron Grimes. If Grimes loses, he must become LA Knight’s butler!

Drew McIntyre got a DQ win over Jinder Mahal...after Mahal’s cohorts Veer and Shanky attacked McIntyre.

Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Eva Marie and … DOUDROP beat Nikki Cross, Asuka, Naomi & Alexa Bliss. Jax pinned Cross. Eva took all the credit.

Jaxson Ryker & R-Truth beat Elias & Cedric Alexander. Elias took a walk...leaving Alexander alone to be pinned by Ryker.

Mustafa Ali got a rollup win on Mansoor.

The Lucha House Party beat T-Bar and Mace. Lince Dorado pinned T-Bar with a hurricanrana.

Ring OF Honor announced two matches for Hour One of its Best In The World event. That hour will be free to watch on multiple platforms.

The two matches announced are...DEMONIC Flamita vs. his former tag partner Rey Horus...and PCO & Danhausen vs. The Bouncers.

Jonathan Gresham will defend the Pure Title against Mike Bennett at Best In The World. Gresham cleared his final hurdle on ROH’s weekend TV, when he turned away the challenge of Fred Yehi.

Also on this past weekend’s ROH TV, the Fight On The Farm between Jay and Mark Briscoe essentially ended in a double knockout...with both brothers agreeing that they’re done fighting each other.

Top Flight’s Dante Martin beat Serpentico. After the match, Matt Sydal helped Martin run off Serpentico and the other half of Chaos Project, Luther.

Also, Orange Cassidy beat Angelico.

CONTRA Unit is sending in some reinforcements for Major League Wrestling’s Battle Riot III. Josef Samael, Ikuro Kwon, Simon Gotch and Daivari will all compete in the match itself on Saturday. Also officially entered into the Riot match: Davey Richards and Kit Osbourne.

STARDOM confirmed that Natsuko Tora suffered a torn ACL during her championship match Sunday against Utami Hayashishita.

Jun Akiyama will defend the KO-D Openweight Championship against King Of DDT tournament winner Konosuke Takeshita at DDT Pro’s Peter Pan show, coming up on August 21st.-p

Also tonight, a rematch from last Monday between Ricochet and John Morrison.

Zelina Vega is back in WWE. She returned on Friday’s SmackDown and was added to the women’s Money In The Bank Match.

Oh yeah...Vega also lost to Liv Morgan.

Kevin Owens beat Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing Match on Friday’s SmackDown to qualify for the men’s Money In The Bank Match.

Bianca Belair’s defense of the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bayley at Money In The Bank will now be an “I Quit” Match.

Joe Gacy and Andre Chase qualified for the NXT Breakout Tournament by winning matches on Friday’s 205 Live.

Tonight’s AEW Dark: Elevation has… Orange Cassidy vs. Angelico… Serpentico vs. Top Flight’s Dante Martin… Plus, Serena Deeb, Thunder Rosa and Hikaru Shida are in singles action.

The AEW Tag Title Match on Wednesday’s Dynamite...with the Young Bucks defending against Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo...will now be a Street Fight.

Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo showed up at AAA’s Verano De Escandalo show on Saturday. Purrazzo beat Lady Shani in a one-on-one match. Purrazzo is set for a Title vs. Title match against AAA’s women’s champ Faby Apache next month at TripleMania.

Mina Shirakawa (shee-RAH-kah-wah) is the new Future of STARDOM Champion. He beat Unagi Sayaka on Sunday to win the vacant title.

Utami Hayshishita is still the World Of Stardom. Her main event title defense against Natsuko (nat-sko) Tora was stopped by the referee after Tora suffered an apparent knee injury.

Konosuke Takeshita won the King Of DDT tournament over the weekend. He beat Yuji Hino in the tournament final.

All Japan announced Suwama will return to action on July 11th. He was forced to vacate the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship after he tested positive for COVID-19.

In New Japan, Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI retained the NEVER Six Man Titles. They beat Yuji Nagata, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima on Friday.

Del Wilkes, the pro wrestler who found fame as The Patriot...has died.

Wilkes was an All-American football player at the University of South Carolina before finding his way into pro wrestling.

His career took him to New Japan, WCW...and the WWF...where he quickly ascended to the main event in 1997 as a championship challenger to Bret Hart.

Wilkes reportedly died after suffering a heart attack on Thursday.

Del Wilkes was 59.

We could get another entrant tonight for the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. A qualifying match is set for tonight’s SmackDown: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing Match.

WWE officially announced Thursday that it will bring SmackDown to New York’s Madison Square Garden on September 10th.

Qualifying matches for the NXT Breakout Tournament will be held on tonight’s 205 Live: Guru Raaj vs. Andre Chase...and Desmond Troy vs. Joe Gacy.

WWE announced a new class of international recruits for its Performance Center on Thursday. All three come from Asia.

The identity of “Blair Davenport” was revealed on Thursday’s NXT UK. It is indeed the former Bea Priestley.

Tyler Bate is still the Heritage Cup Champion. He beat Jack Starz.

The first challenger for the new NXT UK Women’s Champ Meiko Satomura appears to be Amale...who ran over Nina Samuels to get face-to-face with Satomura in the ring. Satomura then put down Amale with a forearm.

Jordan Devlin submitted A-Kid in the main event...and Emilia McKenzie pinned Isla Dawn.

Shane Taylor Promotions will defend the Ring Of Honor 6-Man Titles at the Best In The World pay per view...against the team of Dalton Castle, Dak Draper and Eli Isom.

This weekend’s ROH TV has Jonathan Gresham defending the Pure Title against Fred Yehi.

Plus, the Fight On The Farm...between Jay and Mark Briscoe.

Kenny Omega returned to Impact Wrestling last night. He teamed with the Good Brothers in the main event...to beat Tommy Dreamer’s team of Sami Callihan, Moose and Chris Sabin, who took the pin. Dreamer’s team was in disarray toward the end.

Rachael Ellering pinned Tenille Dashwood. After the match, Dashwood and Kaleb With A K tried to attack Ellering and Jazz...but Jordynne Grace ran down to make the save...and then embraced Ellering. It appears they’ve mended fences...at least, for now.

Chris Bey pinned Petey Williams with the Art Of Finesse. There was a melee after the match, which saw Bey side with Williams and the rest of the good guys.

The advertised match between Satoshi Kojima and Eddie Edwards never happened.

W. Morrissey revealed he jumped Edwards in the parking lot.

So, instead we got Kojima and Jake Something vs. Brian Myers and Sam Beale. Kojima pinned Beale.

Tonight’s New Japan Strong...has Fred Rosser vs. Bateman. Plus, Lio Rush vs. Adrian Quest.

Back in Japan, the final show of the Kizuna Road tour is being held Friday...with the NEVER 6-Man Titles on the line in the main event. It’s a free show on New Japan World.

Round 7 of Major League Wrestling’s Open Draft on Thursday revealed that Matt Cross is joining the league under the Azteca Underground banner. MLW also confirmed Jordan Oliver and Kit Osbourne are returning.

Impact will have live fans in attendance for its TV tapings after Slammiversary. Those are happening on Sunday, July 18 and Monday, July 19.

Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo will get a shot at the AEW Tag Titles. They beat the Young Bucks in a non-title match on last night’s Dynamite. Brandon Cutler and the Good Brothers tried to help the Bucks, but Frankie Kazarian helped even the odds for the good guys.

That title match is set for next week’s Dynamite.

Also added to next week’s show - Andrade El Idolo will make his AEW in-ring debut...against Matt Sydal...Inner Circle’s Jake Hager, Santana, & Ortiz face The Pinnacle’s Wardlow, Dax Harwood, & Cash Wheeler...Orange Cassidy & Kris Statlander vs. The Blade & The Bunny.

MJF promised that next week he’ll announce the stipulation he wants for another match against Chris Jericho.

MJF beat Sammy Guevara in last night’s main event. It was a chair shot from Shawn Spears that made the difference.

Miro is still the TNT Champion...after Brian Pillman Jr. passed out while he was in the Game Over submission hold.

Jungle Boy submitted Jack Evans with the Snare Trap. It’s Jungle Boy’s 50th win in AEW, the most in company history. After the match Jurassic Express and Christian Cage took out the Hardy Family Office.

AEW Women’s Champ Dr. Britt Baker & Rebel beat Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero. Britt submitted Vickie with the Lockjaw. After the match. Rose powerbombed Baker through a table.

Dark Order publicly confronted Kenny Omega and vouched for Hangman Page as the next challenger for the AEW Championship. Hangman wasn’t with them at the time. And later, he made it clear that he wasn’t too thrilled about Dark Order speaking on his behalf.

Brian Cage will defend the FTW Title on Dynamite on July 14th...against Ricky Starks.

Last night’s Dynamite was the last at Daily’s Place for a while. But AEW did announce they’ll return on August 4th.

AEW will run three straight shows in Chicago in September. All Out on Sunday, September 5th will be preceded by episodes of Rampage and Dynamite in the same arena.

We have the first match announced for New Japan’s Resurgence show in Los Angeles on August 14th. It’ll be Jay White defending his NEVER Openweight Championship against David Finlay.

Back in Japan, New Japan is running shows on back-to-back days Thursday and Friday. Both shows are FREE on New Japan World. Friday’s show has a NEVER 6-Man Title match in the main event. Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI defending against Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata.

The Good Brothers are returning to New Japan. Dok Gallows said they always wanted to leave that door open.

There’s a new NXT North American Champion. Isaiah SWERVE Scott took the title from Bronson Reed in the main event of last night’s NXT. Hit Row provided a key distraction and Scott finished off Reed with a 450 Splash.

The match was made during the show.

It also seems to be worth mentioning that Reed recently worked a match on Main Event.

Io Shirai & Zoey Stark are the new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. They won a triple threat on last night’s NXT - beating the teams of Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai and Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon. Shirai pinned Kai with a moonsault.

Shirai & Stark will challenge Candice LeRae & Indie Hartwell for the women’s tag titles on next week’s Great American Bash special.

Also announced for the Bash...LA Knight will defend the Million Dollar Championship against Cameron Grimes. If Grimes loses, he must become Knight’s BUTLER!

Xia Li & Boa beat Mercedes Martinez & Jake Atlas...I guess. Xia kicked Mercedes and went for a pin. It appeared Mercedes kicked out, but she rolled to the floor right after that and the ref called off the match.

Roderick Strong had his first match since he opened The Diamond Mine. He submitted Asher Hale.

Johnny Gargano attacked NXT Champion Karrion Kross...backstage...in the ring...and finally in the parking lot. Only Kross would not stay down and choked out Gargano.

NXT announced it’s bringing back its Breakout Tournament...starting in two weeks.

We should have a new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles by the end of the night. Three teams are set to compete for that honor tonight. It’ll be NXT Women’s Champ Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai vs. Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon vs. Io Shirai & Zoey Stark.

Also being promoted for tonight’s NXT: Xia Li & Boa vs. Mercedes Martinez & Jake Atlas...and Cameron Grimes will be in action.

Drew McIntyre will be in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match. He pinned Riddle with the Claymore to win a 3-Way in the main event of last night’s Raw.

The match was supposed to be McIntyre vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton, but Orton was NOT on Raw last night.

So, there was a battle royal to determine who would take his place in the “Last Chance” Qualifying Match for the Men’s Money In The Bank match.

Riddle won the battle royal, last eliminating Damien Priest, who was back on Raw for the first time since May.

We got a rematch from last week: Asuka & Naomi vs. Eva Marie…& Doudrop. This time it was Eva who hung her tag partner out to dry. Only Doudrop overcame the odds and pinned Asuka with a running splash.

Nikki Cross cradled Shayna Baszler for a pinfall win. Alexa Bliss showed up at ringside during this match. Used a little hypnosis on Nia Jax for a moment - but then just resorted to kicking down Jax and Reginald before leaving.

The team of Charlotte Flair, Natalya & Tamina beat Rhea Ripley, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke. Charlotte pinned Mandy after getting a blind tag and surprising her with a big boot. After the match, Ripley delivered a chop block to Charlotte’s knee.

Jaxson Ryker pinned Elias with a Black Hole Slam to win their Strap Match.

Samoa Joe says he and Triple H were discussing his return to NXT within hours of Joe’s release from WWE back in April. And he said his new job extends beyond just an on-air role.

Bandido will challenge Rush for the Ring Of Honor World Championship at the Best In The World pay per view.

Bandido earned the shot by winning the Survival Of The Fittest finals: A 6-Man Elimination Match that aired on this past weekend’s ROH TV.

Also on the show, Matt Taven and Dutch wrestled to a “no contest” when The Righteous got involved. That includes Vita Von Starr, and as a result of her getting involved in that match, she is OUT of the upcoming women’s world championship tournament.

Billy & Colten Gunn beat Ryan Nemeth & JD Drake. Billy pinned Nemeth with the Famouser.

Matt Hardy & Private Party beat Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds, Alan “5” Angels & Colt Cabana. Angels took the pin after he was hit with the Gin & Juice.

The Blade pinned Chuck Taylor with his foot on the ropes. Angelico & Jack Evans joined Blade for a post-match beatdown on Taylor. But Orange Cassidy sauntered out...to chase them off.

We learned over the weekend that Trent underwent neck fusion surgery. He tweeted that it “went well”, but there’s no word on when he may return to action.

The date for AEW’s upcoming Dynamite show in Boston has been pushed back...from September 8th...to October 27th.

Mexico’s AAA promotion has announced some new matches for its TripleMania show coming up in August.

The Lucha Bros - Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix - will defend the AAA Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat Match...against Hijo del Vikingo & Laredo Kid...and Black Taurus & A Mystery Partner.

Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Championship against Edge at Money In The Bank. That match was officially announced over the weekend.

Dr. Britt Baker’s first defense of the AEW Women’s Championship will come on Dynamite on July 21st...when she’ll defend against Nyla Rose.

Kenny Omega is still the AEW Champion. He turned away the challenge of Jungle Boy on Saturday night’s Dynamite - pinning him with the One Winged Angel.

Omega was looking to do more damage after the match, but Christian Cage ran out to cut off Omega. Next out was Matt Hardy and Private Party. Christian was close to getting the better of them before the Young Bucks put him down with a double superkick.

Hangman Page pinned Powerhouse Hobbs with the Deadeye. Ricky Starks and Hook tried to interfere...but Brian Cage ruined those plans.

Also on the show, Kris Statlander pinned The Bunny with the Big Bang Theory.

Jake Lee won the vacant Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship in All Japan over the weekend.

On that same show, Francesco Akira defeated Koji Iwamoto to win the All Japan Junior Heavyweight Title.

The Great Muta beat Kenoh at Pro-Wrestling NOAH’s “Muta The World” show on Sunday. At one point, Kenoh lit his leg on fire...and kicked Muta in the chest with it. Muta later pinned Kenoh with a Shining Wizard.

Also on that show, HAYATA won the GHC Junior Heavyweight Title from Atsushi Kotoge.

On Saturday’s NOAH show, Masa Kitamiya defeated Katsuhiko Nakajima in a Hair vs. Hair Cage Death Match.

At a Sendei Girls show on Sunday...the team of Minoru Suzuki & the NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura defeated Jinsei Shinzaki & Nanae Takahashi

RevPro vacated the Undisputed British Women’s Championship over the weekend. Jamie Hayter was set to defend it against Skye Smitson. But both women accepted tryout offers from NXT UK. So, RevPro pulled both from their upcoming card. Instead, it’ll be Zoe Lucas vs. Gisele Shaw for the vacant title on next Sunday’s show.

Major League Wrestling announced three new participants for the Battle Riot III match...Ross & Marshall Von Erich...and MLW newcomer Aramis.

“Technical issues” forced Ring Of Honor to postpone the pre-sale for its Glory By Honor shows in Philadelphia coming up in August. That now begins for Honor Club members Monday at 10AM. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday.
