Wrestling Outsiders Podcast

With Brian unavailable due to a family emergency, Arya is flying solo this week and will be here to discuss everything in the wrestling world, from Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada to John Cena and Roman Reigns. Plus if anyone chooses to call in, they can attempt to complete a feat only few men can claim. They can try to Stump Arya!

It is the most infamous moment in WCW history. David Arquette, star of Ready to Rumble, wins the WCW World Title. If that's not enough he then goes one on one with Tank Abbott, who is being built up for Goldberg. PLUS Vince Russo decides to see how badly he can kill ticket sales and ppv buys for Slamboree. Hulk Hogan is here to kill Billy Kidman some more and former WCW Champion Jeff Jarrett is probably here too.

On this episode of Nitro, Jeff Jarrett, World Champion for 8 days, defends his title against Diamond Dallas Page inside a Steel Cage! Plus Eric Bischoff goes one-on-one with future World Champion David Arquette, Arya continues to go crazy and Mike Awesome wrestles his cousin, Hulk Hogan. Plus, who did Bret Hart hit with a chair last week?

The night after Spring Stampede, the level playing field has given us The New Blood with almost all the titles. Why did Kimberly turn on her husband? What do the New Blood have planned for Terry Funk and the Hardcore Title? Has Hulk Hogan broken out of prison and is here to finally get his hands on Eric Bischoff? All that, plus Bret Hart randomly appears! Has WCW continued to build his audience and gotten closer to Raw or has the rating already tanked? Spoiler: It's one of them.

Our quest to get through all of 2000 continues with Spring Stampede. All championships are vacant and will be determined through a series of tournaments. 14 matches in a 3 hour show, so you can imagine the length of some of these bouts and with good reason. Interference in 12 matches! Hulk Hogan has a gun pulled on him! Sloppy wrestling! Swerves! All that and so much more!

Our second season premieres with the relaunch of WCW Monday Nitro on April 10,2000. This season we are reviewing the entire Russo Reign Of Horror from 2000 and are starting right at the beginning. Watch as they spend 2 hours doing angles and storylines that go right over the heads of the audience. Bad wrestling, bad writing, bad announcing and the debut of ECW Champion Mike Awesome, a man that no one in the crowd seemed to know!

From our brief WrestlingOutsiders.com days, an interview with the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Drew Galloway. We discussed his upcoming match with Lashley, his WWE career, being one of Kurt Angle's final opponents and so much more!

One of the most listened to episodes from our TalkShoe days, an interview with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. We discuss everything going on at the time of the episode, including TNA on Pop and why does he review MMA in a wrestling newsletter?

It is our final night on Blog Talk Radio and of course there was a ton of technical issues on BTR's end, so we had to tape the show to air later. Emerson and Brian review Clash 25 with Ric Flair vs Vader and a lot of bad matches! Plus Emerson rants about Tough Enough!

Thank you for listening and tune into TalkShoe.com for future episodes!

There were a lot of technical difficulties on BlogTalkRadio's part Sunday night, preventing a live recap of SummerSlam, but never fear! Emerson still recorded an episode and now you get to hear it! What happened in the huge rematch between Brock Lesnar and Undertaker? Who walked out of SummerSlam with 2 championships? Find out that and so much more by listening now!
