WRESTLING SOUP & FRIENDOS!

From the UK or Mount Olympus, Zeus joins the team and brings us the Wrestling Roast Smackdown Review show.

Super Panda has wrestled all over the world. He's also trained the likes of Luchasaurus and Killer Kross. He also has studied in mystery schools and secret societies and is a vessel of wisdom. Additionally, he's an Emmy Award winner and has done many, many interesting things. You'll never look at Chinese racoons the same way again.

Oh! And much better audio this episode and more PJ Black!

If you are new to the show or network, this is the premier episode of The Book of Black, cohosted by Jeff Lippman and PJ Black. Our inaugural guest was Aron Stephens FKA Damien Sandow.

We discuss the role of the Roman Catholic Chruch. We discuss Freemasonry. The difference between a Society with Secrets and a Secret Society. Yup, it's wrestlers (and me) getting esoteric. Sure, we discuss some wrestling. You'll hear us break the news that NWA was expecting a TV deal in the coming months. That happened. Interesting stuff drops when you're just chatting with friends.

If you continue to listen, you'll find that's a trend with this podcast.

Aron guested on two more of Jeff's non wrestling show, Garden of Thought as well on topics as wide ranging as Shakespeare and esoteric aspects of Alice in Wonderland.

I (Jeff) hope you enjoy this truly unique content. By the way, the audio improves when a professional producer took over a few shows in.

In this first episode, I break down why “heels” often become the most watched, most talked-about, and most memorable people in wrestling. We look at what heels do that hooks our attention, why they spark stronger emotions than “good guys,” and how they shape the whole story by giving fans something to react to and rally against. I also connect it to basic psychology, including identity, group behavior, and why we sometimes enjoy being annoyed, outraged, or challenged as part of the entertainment.

If you’ve ever caught yourself cheering for the person you’re “not supposed to like,” this episode gives you some insight. We’ll talk about why some heels feel authentic while others fall flat and what it says about us as fans when we love a character who drives us crazy. It’s part wrestling, part psychology, and meant to make the way you watch feel even more fun.

Chocolate and Dos start with a bit of pre-show banter and then sing the Angel's Choir about It's GAL acting as the narrator. Setting the tone and laying down all facts, no feelings (unless he feels like it) about this show. This should become a regular fixture. Screw that, straight to the Main Roster and have a segment every week.

It's time the settle the discord between the WWE ID guys and the PC guys. The stakes are high in the team gauntlet match. We also love this match concept.

Plenty of promos and vignettes with all your favorites...and Chuey. Womp womp.

What happens when a Reflection of Perfection meets a former sleepy psycho in a no DQ match? Who's getting a title match? Any new faces?

Evil Dos and (Chon Chon) Chocolate are back with what might be the best episode of Evolve since the last best episode of Evolve. We get a double dose of It's Gal this week and we dip into a bit of this and that and talk about the Friendos recruitment drive. All this and more Jeff Man than you can shake a stick at!

Don and Choc talk about John Cena's last week at work, who his final opponenent should be, could possibly be (we recorded this before Smackdown), and wash his balls for a lil bit. Also we talk about investment options for the dabbling investor and other financial pitfalls to avoid.

Evil Dos and Hunka Chocolate return all rested from their bye week, thanks to NXT's Gold Rush series which saw both Evolve champions succesfully retain their titles. We go into week 39 with another title match for Kendal Grey and we see the likes of Tate Wilder act way fkn bigger than he really is. Slowdown, there, Crossfit Cowboy, save some cousins for the rest of us. Cause they're soooo attractive. YEEEE HAWWWW!!!
