Lee Houston and David Burton open the discussion by noting that the WWE roster is currently on tour in Italy, shifting the usual timing of the broadcast. The main topic of the conversation centers on a recent major Lucha Libre AAA event that featured a high-stakes "Mask vs. Mask" match. The hosts discuss the logistics of finding the broadcast on YouTube, guiding listeners on how to differentiate between the live Spanish version and the taped English version. They then break down the climax of the match, where the loser was forced to unmask and was revealed to be Chad Gable.David highlights the bout as a strong contender for "Match of the Year," while Lee notes the narrative similarities to classic wrestling storylines. This prompts a nostalgic breakdown of the famous 2003 WWE storyline where Hulk Hogan performed under a mask as "Mr. America" despite everyone knowing his true identity, leading to Vince McMahon's ultimate quest to expose and fire him.(Part 2 following soon)

Tonight, we aren't just breaking down the matches; we’re breaking down the business, and frankly, the "business" is looking a little ugly. Join Lee Houston and David "Marvel" Burton as we tackle a heavy week in the industry that has left the locker room reeling and the fans questioning the direction of the TKO era.
On the Docket:
The Power Struggle at the Top: We dive into the growing frustration with TKO Group Holdings. From the aggressive restructuring of contracts to the "slippery slope" of corporate overreach, is the soul of the product being sacrificed for the bottom line?
A "New Day" for Xavier, Kofi, and Others: In a move that has sent shockwaves through the industry, The New Day has officially departed after refusing to restructure their existing deals. We discuss the fallout of TKO asking these legends to take a step back and what it means for the locker room to lose two of its biggest anchors. Plus, we break down the other sudden releases that have the roster on edge.
The 50% Pay Cut Rumors: Reports are surfacing that major talent—some currently in the middle of significant pushes—are being asked to take massive pay cuts just to keep their spots. We explore the "take it or leave it" culture brewing backstage and why even the top stars might not be safe.
Backlash 2026 Preview: With the road to Backlash just days away, how is the card shaping up amidst all this backstage chaos? We look at the matchups and predict who walks out of Tampa with the gold.
"When you start asking the people who built the house to take a 50% cut on the rent, don't be surprised when they start looking for a new neighborhood."

He reminded us all why we love this business in the first place. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the countless fans who shared a row or a conversation with him at ringside.
Rest in Power, Marc.
