Long before indie card sets became all the craze, Brimstone was putting out his own trading cards, mainly covering his wrestling career. Sure, it wasn't the first time someone had done it, but Brimstone, like everything else his hands seem to touch, turned that experience into much more, expanding into comics, clothing, food, acting and a top rated radio show in NY! You know him as "Flick" from A Christmas Story or as "Master" Eric Bates from The Toy, but we've known Scott Schwartz for years as just - Scott! LOL. He's been a friend of ours for years and we thought it would be a good chat with him about his involvement with not only the collectibles world, but also his involvement working with WWE (when it was WWF) as a kid in high school. We bring you another month of wrestling card market review with Paul "Wrestling Card Price Guide" Anand.   

* Segment 1: Latest hobby news  - What a busy month it was! Not due to the few of releases that came out (IMPACT Series 2 cards, Summer of John Cena cards, WWE Transcendent VIP, CanAm Indie cards), but news of Topps losing their MLB license (and what affect it might have on it's WWE license) to Fanatics, but the largest trading card seller on eBay (PWCC) getting shut down! We try and cover it all.  

* Segment 2: Chrome and Refractor sales - There's been a sudden jump in interest in the 2006 WWE Chrome (Topps) and we point out some key cards and values.  

* Segment 3: Paul’s Pricing - We continue with Paul's selection of a variety of wrestling cards/sets for the month of August that we compare to both June & July's pricing, as we also get their average price points & we speculate their possible future values.

The 1993 Topps CMLL Corazon De Leon CHRIS JERICHO Rookie Card - It's raised a lot of eyebrows in the wrestling trading card community. Why? Because there's a seller, B. Williams (Awkward High 5), who's asking half a million dollars for said card! We get to sit down and chat with this long time collector/seller and find out why he feels this could be the first 6-figure wrestling card. Lots of great insight here and some key points to take away when you're prospecting/speculating on future investments.

We look at the game and see if there is anything wrestling card collectors should look for if they are interested in finding some hidden gems. When we started WTC almost 20 years ago, we never thought we would get to a point where we would have a professional writer, writing cool articles about the hobby of wrestling trading cards. But here we are, working with long time hobby enthusiast,  the talented Michael Moore.
