NXT's first pay per view of the year and man are we excited for them to DELIVER! We have Trick Williams taking on Ilja Draganuov for his chance at the main event picture. Trick also has double duty tonight teaming with Carmelo Hayes to take on Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin in the Dusty Rhodes Classic finals. Lyra Valkyria takes on 'The Prodigy' Roxanne Perez with the NXT Women's championship on the line. We also have The Family setting OTM straight after their attack on them.

Warning Pyro and I did get a little off topic for a bit but after a very needed rant we do get back on track haha just stick with us throughout it.

29 men and women came and 29 men and women went over the top rope, only one can win their respective rumbles. Congratulations to Bayley as she becomes the 3rd Horsewomen to win a Royal Rumble match as well as beating Rhea Ripley's record of longest time in a Royal Rumble match for the women at 1 hour 1 minute, the new record is 1 hour 3 minutes. On the other side of things congrats to Cody Rhodes as he has become the 9th person overall to win more than one Royal Rumble and the first person in 26 years to win them back to back, Cody has already shown that he will be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship finally looking to finish his story. Roman Reigns in his first ever fatal 4-way title defense picks up the win thanks to his younger cousin Solo. Lastly Logan Paul retained in his first title defense via a DQ so brother Pyro and I are hoping that this story continues.

First pay per view of the new year! The road to WrestleMania begins NOW. 30 men, 30 women battle it out in the ring for a chance to main event WRESTLEMANIA. Who do you think has the ability to win and face any champion of their choosing at the showcase of the immortals? Is it finally CM Punk's year? How about an underdog like Chad Gable or will Cody Rhodes continue his never ending story? Will Randy Orton, LA Knight or AJ Styles be able to end the record setting reign of Roman Reigns? The last pay per view of the year 2023 deemed one of the worst. Overall grade was a C, not surprising as we didn't need a majority of the matches on this card. As Brother Pyro also said it, "it's very sad when your top matches are on the zero hour/kickoff show". We hope you all had a wonderful new year and we will be back at ya January 27th for the Royal Rumble.

AEW gives us our final pay per view of the year and as Pyro loves to say it is bloated! MJF defends his championship against Samoa Joe who Pyro believes to be behind the devil mask. We have the finals of the continental classic where the men have a chance to be called a triple champion, as Eddie Kingston added his championships on the line alongside the newly made continental title.

Ending off the last NXT Pay per view on a high note! Congratulations to Trick Williams and Blair Davenport for outlasting their competitors and going on to challenge for their respective titles at New Year's Evil. Welcome back is in order to a Ms. Cora Jade.  'Dirty' Dom proved yet again that he just can't get it done without Judgment Day losing the North American Championship to Dragon Lee, very excited to see what they do with his reign as champion. After their match Lexus King jumped on the mic and informed Carmelo that it wasn't him who took out Trick Williams but made it seem as though he did it get a spot on the pay per view. It seems Roxanne Perez and Kiana James will continue their back and forth going into the new year as Kiana's assistant played a role in this match. Lastly Ilja Draganov yet again pushed to his limits this time by Baron Corbin, however Ilja bested the former lone wolf and retained his championship.

It's Deadline, the last NXT pay per view of the year, time to settle feuds and go into the new year with a fresh start. 10 individuals challenge, two of them to earn the right at their respective titles.  Will we ever find out who attacked Trick Williams? Will Dragon Lee be the one to finally dethrone 'Dirty' Dominik Mysterio? 

We will find out the answers to these and find out who will challenge for the title when we come back to you for our recap.

The rules for the Iron Survivor Challenge are as follows:

• Five Superstars will compete in this unique 25-minute match as they battle each other and the clock. 
• Two Superstars will start the match, and every five minutes a new Superstar will enter the match until all five are in the ring. 
• The goal is to have the most falls when the clock hits 25 minutes. 
• Falls can be won at any time via pinfall, submission, or disqualification. 
• When a Superstar scores a fall, they will earn one point. 
• However, when a Superstar loses a fall, that Superstar must pay the penalty. They are forced out of the ring and into a penalty box for 90 seconds. 
• Once the 90 seconds are up, the Superstar can re-enter the match. 
• The Superstar who has scored the most falls when the clock hits 25 minutes will be named the Iron Survivor and become the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship, respectively.

These Wargames matches came and delivered, we all absolutely loved all the different storylines they had tied into both of these Wargames matches. Starting off with the women's biggest storyline being 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' 4 women brought together as they all had one common problem with the currently growing Damage CLTR. 

The men's Wargames tells multiple storylines between all of its members. From Seth Rollins and Finn Balor's 7 year old rivalry that just got renewed this past summer, to Drew McIntyre believing he should've dethroned Seth at Crown Jewel and lastly keeping our tie with Seth we have Mr. Money in the Bank who has that briefcase hanging over his head. We did have a tease of a cash in tonight as we anxiously awaited the return as Cody's 5th team member Randy Orton, coming back after 18 months on the shelf caused by the hands of the Bloodline (Jey aware he has a receipt coming his way).  After the "Team BabyFace '' picked up the win and took their time to celebrate we had a 10 long year return of CM Punk, excited to see the rivalries we get from that one.

This is the 37th annual Survivor Series, the second Survivor Series to include the WarGames concept. Tonight we have our usual men's and women's war games match taking place of the traditional 5 v 5 elimination match. We have the Miz challenging Gunther for a chance at his 9th Intercontinental championship.  Rhea faces Zoey Stark as she gained her championship opportunity via a Battle Royal.
