Wright State Chi Alpha

Jay Seidler continues our Acts series talking about a lesser-celebrated role of the Holy Spirit: Advocate. How do we follow His lead as fellow advocates with Him? Believe the best, stop rumors, cover weaknesses, and rejoice in strengths.

Josh Plaisance, lead pastor of The Dwelling Place, is with us sharing his testimony about how he came to Jesus and the Holy Spirit's powerful work in his life.

Heather Erickson begins our series on Acts by giving an introduction to the book. The author, Luke, had two main goals: document the spread of the gospel through the Roman empire and put on full display the central role of the Holy Spirit in empowering the Church. He is still spreading the gospel, and He is still empowering you, the Church.

Jay Seidler polishes off our series about Family and the gospel talking about the Holy Spirit. He plays a vital role in our adoption into the family of God. Because of His work, we are heirs who were chosen by God who belong in His family.

Heather Erickson continues the series "In the Family" with a closer look at Jesus' role in the gospel. Jesus always was, always will be, and is all we need right now.

In the last week of the series, we hear from Dylan, a Chi Alpha who is an RA. He grew up in a Christian home and in a small church. His journey to know Jesus is anything but typical.

In our second week of Stories, we hear from Saron, a student with a harrowing story. We see God working in our most difficult and impossible situations.

Andy Erickson invites us to join the family on mission for the campus. Every member is important to accomplishing the mission of God to find, fight for, and feed the lambs of God.

The way God calls us can be amazing and supernatural, but what if we don’t hear the audible voice of God? God has called us already and is still calling us. Sometimes fulfilling that call is simply obeying the desires He’s put in our hearts to see lives changed by the Gospel, whether we go across the world or across the classroom.

Take a deeper dive with us in to the Bible! The Bible isn't as intuitive to study as you might think. Historical and literary contexts are not as obvious to the modern reader.
