How doooo
This episode is based on Carol Dweck's mindset theory which is all detailed in her brilliant book Mindset: Changing The Way You Think To Fulfil Your Potential https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1780332009/ref=tmm_pap_used_olp_sr?ie=UTF8&condition=used&qid=&sr=
Within this book (and on a few Ted Talks and other bit which you can find on Youtube) she details two opposing mindsets:
The Fixed Mindset: which suggests that your abilities are innate and unchangeable. Like how we commony think of talents and 'gifts'
The Growth Mindset: which basically views our abilies not as fixed 'talents' but as something the you can improve
In this episode I detail some of the characteristics and differences between the two mindsets and how i've personally used this theory to make some significant changes to my own life.
Let us know what you think about this subject - have you used this stuff to identify where you might have a fixed mindset and made positive changes off the back of it?
Or do you beleive that we do possess talents and gifts and they're innate?
