Let's get writing that book together.
The first in a series of podcasts you can follow to help you and your children get through this current coronavirus emergency. I am convinced it will connect your family in an incredibly unique way and help kids who may be feeling anxious, scared. This is a life changing experience. Fun and educational too.
With love

Why did I rename the podcast? Let me tell you... And what about those early days of separation, how to cope. And a couple of book recommendations for you.

Hey, so where are Finn and Jake with their writing? Where am I with helping others write a book with their kids?
Let's see...
We all look to a comfort zone when bad things happen. But that may not be the best thing to do...
Are you overwhelmed? You don’t have to be. I'm in the middle of a self-imposed online challenge. So many are dropping out, others talking about being overwhelmed with the workload, and what it will take to complete the 30-day challenge. So, I offered some advice. I work full time, flying jets across the wild Atlantic, I'm a co-parenting dad and founded and run two new enterprises.
Books are not all created equally, and there are so many differences between writing kids books, and writing novels. For the first one, I had to learn those differences, and I had to remember this was their book, Finn and Jake's not mine.
So how did that go?
The benefits of planning, writing, publishing and getting into print a book with your kids are immense. But the benefits don't only apply to your kids!
When that room is empty, when the time comes to drop them off or have them picked up, that book can be an incredible help...
So apart from all the myriad of benefits the kids and I got from writing a book together, we had fun at the markets. We've started small but are moving on up from a small market to something big and challenging. How cool is that?
But what does it really mean?
What's a single parent anyway? I've asked myself that question since I was a kid. Let's see. And what does it mean for you and your kids? Probably more in a positive way than you think.
