From the Author - My name is Kaay Grosso and I wrote In the Rose because it’s my story. It’s my archeological dig and I share it with you because there are bones and shreds of you and me and those we love and those we may be judging as irrelevant or hurtful or hateful or evil in our society.

I wanted to use the medium story, of stories in overlapping ways to help up generate a long view of the possibilities for psyche and for soul.

I hope that you will enjoy the journey of overlapping stories.

I hope you will also remember that in every story there is a culture there is another story, as there is in any name, any place, so join me In the Rose, at your own pace, with your own ideas of what patriarchy is, can be, and is not.
