• James is a very common name and Bible scholars have debated the author of the book of James (3:05)
• James became a dear follower of Jesus after the resurrection (4:53)
• What do you think about when you read “consider it joy when you fall into trials and temptation”? (5:29)
• James is not suggesting you find joy in the middle of the trial, but when you get through it (7:32)
• When you look at chapter one, see that there’s a difference between a trial and a temptation (8:57)
• I believe that God steps in the most during dark moments (12:55)
• We cannot doubt during these situations (14:05)
• How do we carry our doubts faithfully? (15:22)
• What you’re looking at is the direction you’re going to go (17:54)
• We often wonder how to just make it through the day versus asking how it can best glorify God (20:54)
• Our faith is stronger when God allows us to stand during times we should be falling (23:04)
