In all the grants I've wrote throughout the years, I expected to win. Every grant took countless hours of research, design and thought. I truly poured my soul in each one, so when it got rejected my feelings were hurt. In the hindsight of glancing back to my initial grants, I don't think I would have approved my grant neither.
