Description:

This course explains how to write appropriate goals for IEPs that not only are appropriate and measurable but help connect them to the real world. This course also explains how to work as a team with other professionals when developing IEPs in the school setting. Earn 1 clock hour of continuing education credit (Introductory Level, Professional Area).

As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:  

1. Define and recognize how to write appropriate, measurable IEP goals
2. Define the difference between IEP goals and objectives
3. List at least 2 ways to co-develop IEP goals with other professionals
