Welcome back to Another Notch! This is a show where I find random writing prompts, give them a shot, and then share what I did in the hopes of getting some feedback. The only way to grow as a writer is to get feedback on what one writes, so...here I am...to write, and share, and get feedback!Today's prompt is supposed to be about a couple on a beach at night seeing a ghostly pirate ship returning, according to local legend, to claim it's hidden buried treasure. I didn't quite get there in one sitting but, after about four pages, I decided to go with what I had so far. I hope you enjoy it, or at least get something out of it, and I hope you are inspired to write, even if it's nothing more than commentary about what I've written. Go for it! Let's see what ya got.
