Wrong Assumptions

Listen Later

Greetings, wonderful morning!. Word for today; Wrong Assumptions.
John chapter 3:1-4 "But there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This one came to Jesus by night and said to to Him,Rabbi , we know that You have come from God as a teacher, for no one can do the things {the signs} that you do unless God is with Him. Jesus answered and said to him, Truly truly , I say to you, Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to Jesus, How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and born can he? Jesus answered, Truly truly , I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"
We see here that Nicodemus who was a ruler of the Jews of the Pharisees he was a teacher of the law and that is according to verses ten {10} we see Jesus telling Nicodemus that "you are a teacher of Israel and you do not know these things?" So Nicodemus was a teacher of the law, but he had assumptions, you know he was teaching and he thought he knew. And he over looked but, he went to Jesus probably to get more teaching.
Because by way he addressed Jesus he needed more teaching, he went by night because he didn't want any one to see him.
Praise the name of Lord...Jesus is so gracious He revealed Himself to him.
Another good example is in the book of John chapter 20:11-16 . Magdalene, Mary Magdalene when she went early in the morning to the tomb, you know to probably to put oil and to anoint the body of Jesus maybe, she found the stone has been rolled away and she was weeping and crying outside the tomb and she was saying " they must have taken the Lord". And the Bible says suspecting or may be thinking the person she was talking to was a gardener, only to realize later that He was Jesus. Verse 16 John chapter 20:16 "Jesus said to her Mary"!!
Jesus called her name out. Brothers and Sisters Jesus has called our names out let's turn to Him, let's turn in our spirit and receive Him and all wrong assumptions will drop at the cross of Jesus!
All wrong assumptions will drop when the Light of Christ shines in our hearts.
The Lord bless you.!!
