Kayla chose Christopher Nolan so we take a deep dive into the Nolanverse by exploring his favorite themes, visuals, and obsession with time and earlier films. Disney is celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year and we decided to draft Disney to celebrate early! Animated only, including Pixar. “I don’t have friends, I have family.” It’s time for us to start living our lives a quarter mile at a time! This week is dedicated to the greatest film franchise of all time, The Fast and Furious! “When you’re lost in the darkness, look for the light.” This week we are covering The Last of Us Ep 1-3 (0:37). We talk about zombie stories, comparisons to the video game, and the events of the latest episodes. Then we check back in to The Challenge 38: Ride or Dies (55:30). We discuss the events of the first part of the final, and as always, the debate gets a little heated. As always, we end with our SOTW (1:13:20).

“And the Oscar goes to….” This week we talk about the recently announced 95th Oscar Nominations. We break down the top categories, our favorites to win, and much more. Then we start a rapid-fire quick sell of nominated films and who should and should not see them (20:07). As always, we end with our SOTW (39:20).

It’s time to catch up on some reality tv! First we chat about the latest season of The Circle (0:40) and debate how it has changed in five seasons. Then we return to the The Challenge 38: Ride or Dies (Ep 8-15) (43:24). We talk about the ride or die strategies, who deserves to win and a hot debate on the Tori/Jordan drama. As always, we end with our SOTW (1:05:20).

New year, same us. We’re back to kick off our first episode of 2023! First we chat about HBO’s The Sex Lives of College Girls S2 (1:24) and catch-up on what the ladies have been up to. Then we do a deep dive to discuss Avatar: The Way of Water (43:52). As always, we end with our SOTW (1:01:10).
