Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals! This week we celebrate the holidays by giving our annual Christmas movies review. And this year we really went outside the gift box with our picks. First, Kayla reviews the erotic thriller, Eyes Wide Shut (6:35). Then Justin gives his thoughts on the film Violent Night (31:41). As always, we end with our SOTW (46:09).

“Gganbu gang!” This week we cover the surprising delight that is Squid Game: The Challenge (1:02) on Netflix. We talk about our favorite/least favorite players, best challenges, most wtf moments, and more. Then we discuss what we want in season 2 and our excitement for the original show to return. As the year comes to a close, we love to look back and rank our favorites of the year. First we start with television as we rank our Top 5 TV Shows of 2023 (6:55). It’s time for another movie review episode and the theme this week is high school hijinks movies. First we reminisce about our high school days and if we had any movie worthy moments. Then Kayla drives around Austin with a paddle in her hand with a review of Dazed and Confused (9:33). Then Justin plots his revenge with a twist with his review of Do Revenge (33:51). As Thanksgiving approaches , there can be a lot of challenges we may have to face…from googling how to roast a turkey to finding space to fit your uncle’s new girlfriend. And that’s why this week’s episode is all about our favorite reality show, The Challenge! Joined by fellow Challenge fan, Cayla, we catch up a little (0:24) before reminiscing about past seasons, missed contestants, and debate who could replace TJ as host (4:42). Then we dive into the latest season of The Challenge 39: Battle for a New Champion (28:24). We talk about a season with no competing vets, the game structure, and our predictions for the next level of chaos. As always, we end with our SOTW (1:01:23).

“Nice to meet you, where you been? I could show you incredible things” This week is all about reviewing the latest music and film drops. Afterwards , they both sat down for a vulnerable and open discussion on grief, faith, and fear stemming from their own past experiences brought out by the genius of Mike Flanagan’s horror based tv shows including The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher.

It’s Kayla’s favorite time of the year, Halloween! Which means Justin is sitting out this week so the ladies can talk all things horror! Joined by special guests Chit and Cayla, we chat about how we first got into the horror genre, how its changed over the years, and when the last time we were scared watching a horror movie. Then we review The Nun 2 (25:02), M3gan (31:17), Talk To Me (38:00), Knock at the Cabin (44:36), Infinity Pool (47:19), Totally Killer (53:08), and Scream VI (56:58).
