Doubts and questions may be where the Psalm begins, but not the Psalm ends.

This is not a happy prayer, this is a prayer with real and raw emotion. But it also ends with hope.

It is a prayer that instructs us today as we consider the wickedness of humanity. It is a prayer in which we are led to move our gaze from the evil around us to the throne of God.

The lowly are lifted up, and the proud are humbled.

 

While we are still sinners, Christ died for us.

Do what is right not for the purpose of gaining something, but as an end itself.

 

Christians, as they move into a life of gratitude, must submit and love God as well as submit and love their neighbor both inside and outside the church.

Seek humility instead of hatred, seek forgiveness instead of fairness, seek reconciliation instead of retaliation.

No sin is too big that the Lord cannot wash clean again.

If it is important, you are just not waiting, but everything you do while waiting would contribute to the moment of realization.

The king, the ruler, of all things should be the ruler of our heart.
