Our hopes and lives can only rest secure in Jesus Christ the Son, who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8).

Paul beautifully explains how Christ is the great Yes to all of God's promises, to which believers are called to submit their Yes of faith.

 Although much more simple and with much less outward glory than the Old Covenant administration, the ministry of the New Covenant holds forth more fullness, evidence and spiritual efficacy than the Old.

This message looks briefly at Paul's blessing of God in 2 Cor 1:3-7. 

Jesus the Son is superior to angels because God the Father directed all his angels to worship the Son.

 

I - God fulfills his promises in Christ. II -  God establishes you in Christ.

To know who we are in Christ gives us the necessary balance for ministry longevity.

A minister is a servant and a servant must serve someone or something. Moses was a servant of the Old Covenant. 

There is great assurance in John's promise that someday we will be like Christ. That promise also provides great hope for life now.

 Paul explains how reconciliation in the church rests upon the reconciliation wrought by God in Christ.
