This is another explosive chapter in 2 Kings! 2 Kings chapter 4 tells the stories of several miracles performed by Elisha, the prophet who succeeded Elijah.  Elisha helps a widow pay off her debts by multiplying her oil,  provides a childless woman with a son, makes a poisonous stew safe to eat, and he multiplies a small amount of food. The chapter highlights Elisha's compassion and his ability to perform miracles through the power of God, demonstrating that God cares for the needs of His people and can work through His chosen messengers to perform great things.
