Why I quit watching cable news is a look at the power opinionated news has on our thought process and overall health.

Our minds absorb anything we feed it and this information has a direct affect on the decisions we make consciously and subconsciously. But it also affects our natural energy flow by evoking fear and anger toward the information we're receiving.

Our perception of things then becomes skewed and we find ourselves heavily invested in things that are not helping us to move forward in our pursuit for success.

We laugh at people who watch Keeping up with the Kardashians but are we any better just because what we watch is called the News?

An opportunity is only an opportunity if:

1 - you take advantage of it and 2 - you jump in and have the confidence to take action

Once in a while an opportunity comes along that is perfect for you and too hard to pass up. W.T. Hamilton found himself in that very situation at the DYNAMO Speaker Talent Search.

While sitting in the audience the opportunity came for him to compete after a last minute spot opened up. With only minutes to prepare he came up with this speech.
