So many teachers have side gigs, both related to education (tutoring, summer school), and not (selling a variety of products, bartending, construction). That's because teaching doesn't pay all that well, plus summers off. Do other people with the education teachers have need to get a second job on the regular? Probably not.
In this episode, we talk to Glenn Gamble, a technology and business teacher who also reps Ever-FI, and also works for Amazon. Where he's gotten raises, versus none at his teaching job. It's interesting to hear his take on it all.
Additionally we ponder how useful it would be to be able to perform telekinesis with students we'd prefer to see anywhere but in front of us, and we of course discuss cereal!
Thanks to Max Siskind, of the "Max and Maks in the Morning" podcast, for voicing our intro!
