Steven just dropped his first book "Across the Bridge- A Rikers Island Story" and he sits down with us to discuss how it was being on both sides of the justice system. From CO to inmate, Steven had to fight through adversity and he was able to serve his time, rectify his actions and now is giving perspective to those on the inside and out of how important freedom, time and mental health is. We're very grateful to have had him on the podcast, we got to talk about other music, love, being a first time writer and so much more.
