Dorothy Roberts is Professor of Law and Sociology, and Professor of Civil Rights at the University of Pennsylvania. She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss her newly released book, "The Mixed Marriage Project: A Memoir of Love, Race and Family", and Free Library of Philadelphia's Authors Series event Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 PM at the Free Library of Philadelphia's 19th and Vine Street branch.

The Mixed Marriage Project invites us into the daily lives of interracial couples in Chicago over four decades. Ms. Roberts reflects on her own childhood as a Black girl with a white father, and how those experiences have grown her into one of the most prominent public thinkers and scholars on race.

Eileen Grench is a Journalist who covers immigration enforcement for Documented NYC. Previously, Ms. Grinch has covered the impact of the criminal justice and immigration systems on communities in New York City, Houston and beyond.

She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss ICE street arrests in New York City increasing to 212% under Trump, immagration advocates and elected officials gathering at city council supporting four bills that were meant to strengthen sanctuary policies, and what New Yorkers think about the first year of Trump's term.

Steven Blush is the author of the book, “When Rock Met Hip Hop”. This is a book chronicling the late 1980s and early 1990s fusion of rock and hip-hop. It focuses on key collaborations like Run-DMC/Aerosmith and Public Enemy/Anthrax, and exploring how these genre collisions broke down cultural barriers, influenced modern music, and created a new cultural blueprint through artists like the Beastie Boys, Rick Rubin, and Russell Simmons. This book was released on Feb. 5th, 2026.
