Terrill and local small-batch hot sauce maker, HotBox Philly (Radhi), are teaming up to release ‘Street Heat, a special-edition hot sauce created with a powerful dual purpose: raise funds to remove 100 tons of trash from Philadelphia in 2026 and help keep HotBox from shutting down due to declining sales and rising costs. The Goal is to Sell 25,000 Bottles by Earth Day 2026.

MOM Your Business has established a partnership with Reading Terminal Market, one of America’s iconic and most visited public markets. From November 13 through December 31, visitors will experience a first-of-its-kind Holiday Pop-Up Cart spotlighting more than 80 women- and Black-owned businesses.

Pennsylvania State Representative Darisha Parker was elected in November of 2020 for the legislation district 198, which serves Nicetown, Germantown, Logan, East and West Oak Lane and Olney. She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the recent No Hate In Our State Town Hall meeting held by PA Legislation Black Caucus leaders, and the state budget since it’s been passed.

Stephen Bronskill works with Transit Forward Philadelphia, a coalition of Philadelphia-based organizations fighting to improve public transit in Southeast Pennsylvania. He joined the show to talk about the public transit issues in Philadelphia.

Rick Krajewski is a criminal justice organizer and State Representative for the 188th district, covering parts of West and Southwest Philadelphia. Rep. Rick has lived in West Philadelphia for his entire adult life and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was elected to the State House in 2020.

Rep. Krawjewski joins the show to talk about his stance on saving the SEPTA transit system.
