Host Brother Shomari is joined by guest Malik Yakini for the "Dispatches from Detroit" segment to reflect on the accomplishments of Yakini and figure out what direction black people should be going in for 2025.

"Hadithi Zabantu Afrika!" is a segment on Groundings hosted by BK from Botswana. The segment focuses on getting perspectives from young people from the African continent about what is happening in their countries. Matthias from Ethiopia and Charity from Uganda are guests on the segment.

Host Brother Shomari is joined by members of the Diaspora Property Expo Group, which is focused on connecting the African diaspora with real estate in Ghana, featuring government officials, developers, and investment opportunities. They are on Groundings to promote the Diaspora Property Expo in March 2025.

Brother Obi Egbuna Jr. joins Groundings for the "Dynamics of the African DIaspora" segment, presented every fourth Friday of the month. Obi and Brother Shomari discuss the commonalities of the black American and African experience.

Brother Shomari is joined by Bigga Dre, a hip-hop artist, songwriter, and producer known for his socially conscious lyrics, focusing on community issues, human trafficking, and environmental justice in Pennsylvania. Bigga Dre discusses an upcoming event focusing on human trafficking.

Rev. Malcom Byrd joins Host Brother Shomari to talk about the "Community Empowerment Day Breakfast Forum".

Dr. Valerie Dorsey Allen and Diane Leslie of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Symposium Executive Planning Committee join host Brother Shomari to discuss the upcoming Martin Luther King Symposium at the University of Pennsylvania.
