Dylan Lewis is a multimedia professional in the Philadelphia region. She currently works at Scribe Video Center as a Humanities & Project Coordinator. Scribe Video Center is a non-profit organization founded in December of 1982 in Philadelphia. Dylan previously served as a Content Coordinator & Producer here at WURD Radio. She is also a graduate of Brown University.

Sarah Hinger is the Deputy Director of the ACLU (The American Civil Liberties Union) Racial Justice Program. The ACLU is a nonprofit organization founded in 1920 that focuses on defending and preserving individual rights and liberties in the United States, as guaranteed by the Constitution and laws.

Sarah joins the show to peak on the lawsuit the ACLU filed against the Department of Education. The lawsuit challenges DOE's Feb. 14 Dear Colleague letter directing schools to "end racial preferences", threatening schools with funding cuts unless they comply.

Professor Shara McCallum is an Edwin Erie Sparks Professor of English at Penn State University and an author of 7 books of poetry published in the US & UK. McCallum’s poems and essays have appeared in journals, anthologies and textbooks throughout the US, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

She joined Dr. Peterson on the Tuesday teach-in segment to discuss poetry and politics regarding the Trump administration attacking DEI at universities.

Stephen Caruso is a journalist/Capitol Reporter from Spotlight PA, who focuses on the Governor’s office and Pennsylvania legislation. He joins Dr. Peterson to give an inside perspective on recent news and decisions being made in Harrisburg.

Dr. Michael K. Wilson is an artist, art historian, and curator. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Art History and Pan-African Studies at Lincoln University and the Assistant Curator at the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP).

Dr. Wilson joins the show to talk about some off the exhibits that are on display at AAMP: The Pearl Bailey Showcase, which features scrapbook collages that were hand-crafted by award-winning actress, singer, songwriter, and author, Pearl Bailey, presenting her life through photographs, postcards, and archival materials. As well as "The Big Chief Demond Melancon: As Any Means Are Necessary Event", which features the work of Desmond Melancon, who works solely with a needle and thread to sew glass beads onto canvas.

Cathleen Jenkins and Anita Wade join the show. They are board members from the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association (CHAACA). Since 1978, CHAACA has been a beacon of unity, service, and purpose, advocating for African American youth and families in Cherry Hill.

Molly Weston Williamson, a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, and nationally recognized expert on paid leave policy. Previously, Molly was the Director of Paid Leave and Future of Work at A Better Balance, where she led advocacy around paid leave laws across the country and directed efforts to address the needs of all workers in a changing workforce.

Molly’s recent MSNBC article is regarding “DOGE’s attacks on Social Security could have dire consequences, as SSA announced its intent to eliminate 7000 jobs, slicking the agency’s already skeletal staff down to the marrow.” She joins Dr. Peterson to discuss social security and why it matters.

Walter M. Kimbrough is the President of Talladega College, who is widely respected for his dynamic leadership and innovation approach to education. He is the author of “Black Greek 101” and writer of a recent MSNBC op-ed article entitled “Caleb Wilson’s hazing death is a familiar cautionary tale.”

He joins Dr. Peterson to discuss more about his article on Caleb Wilson's hazing death.

Ellie Rushing is a Philadelphia Inquirer journalist who covers criminal justice and law enforcement in Philadelphia, including how crime and the court systems impact communities. She joins Dr. Peterson to discuss a recent article she wrote about the Young Bag Chasers out of West Philadelphia.
