Detect early, Protect Kidney Health” 1 in 7 adults are thought to have chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the US (~35.5 million people). 9 in 10 adults with CKD don’t even know they have CKD. For people with diabetes, it is important to screen for kidney disease with a blood and urine test at least once a year.
