A pet is not a holiday surprise — it's a massive commitment.

Dearborn launches Michigan’s first citywide school bus safety program, installing AI-powered cameras on all district buses. The technology records drivers who illegally pass stopped buses and provides evidence for police review. City leaders say the data will also guide education and traffic safety planning, with the goal of changing driver behavior and protecting children on their way to and from school. This holiday season, a number of organizations are working hard to put smiles on the faces of hundreds of kids in Metro Detroit. Among those groups is United Community Family Services-Chaldean American Ladies of Charity, which will deliver gifts to more than 400 children later this month on what they call "Wonderland Day."
