There's a new initiative to dismantle drug networks throughout Metro Detroit. It's a partnership between the Macomb County Sheriff's Office and the Warren Police Department. Sheriff's Commander Jason Abro tells WWJ's Dan Jenkins it'll combine resources to root out drug rings in the area.

Under current Michigan law, a person who gets a personal protection order against an abuser has to serve that order to that person, unless they can pay a fee to have the police do it for them.
