Everyone seems to be so concerned by even the littlest bit of objection especially audible objection from the dog during training, sure it is good to be aware of that, but when it comes to REHAB work it is not top of mind as far as deciding what you are doing is correct, since what you are doing has been proven over and over with real dogs in your care with real results that work.
