The only option open for me when my heart is aching, or when circumstances are in reverse, and everything is breaking wrong for me is just turning to the Lord Jesus.

If you're willing to take your perplexity, or your heartache, or your despair, or your uncertainty, or the deep hurt that there may be in your life; if you're willing to take that to Jesus, and trust Him with it, He will do the miracle in your life.

Don't limit your life by saying, "Well, this is the way everybody has done it; therefore, I must." God may want to do an entirely new thing through you.

Could you adopt, today, as a way of life, a constantly prayerful attitude, that asks God to lead you to people who are ready for Jesus? What a thrill that is: to know that God has guided you.

Never tie your faith to a human being, because all of us human beings fail at some point or other. Tie your faith to the Lord Jesus Christ, He never fails.

When God leads you through something that's rough, beloved, look up, and say, "Lord, I'm doing this for Jesus. I'm sharing it with Him and I want you to get glory out of it, that God might be glorified."

Turn to Jesus. He's waiting there, just outside the grave – He's alive today and He wants to call your name and reveal Himself to you

It brings great comfort to my heart because I'm often perplexed about the next steps. But all you have to do is obey God one step at a time.

If you want to make a difference in your world, you better go the extra mile and make the extra effort – motivated not by duty, only by the consuming love you have for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Take all of that to your heart and take courage as you begin again to live for your Lord. Let your light shine, let the Spirit of God pour love out of your heart and see what God will do – even in painful situations.
