Longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit-part of God's nature. Longsuffering means to be accepting towards all types of people as they are. Spend time with God and ask him to change you.

Another part of God's nature we may share in is peace. It comes through a right relationship with God, through prayer, through trusting God to handle it and fixing on the Word of God.

Another part of God's divine nature we share is joy. Applying the Word of God in your life and living in His will gives you joy.

Whenever God shows up in our life that's when the Holy Spirit is in control. The Holy Spirit controlling our life produces the fruits of the Spirit.
