  • Wausau Morning Report with Chad Holmes: Tuesday, October 28

We talk about tonight’s opportunity for the public to speak at the Wausau Council meeting conerning the city 2026 budget. Also about the Mayor’s veto threat. It is not a sign of strength. Also, the importance of talking about both spending and taxes when discussing budget issues….not just saying “we spend too much.” Also a look at another state trying to use Gerrymandering to help the GOP keep congressional control in the 2026 midterms. Why can’t we just think about what is right? Plus a long night for folks watching the World Series.

  • Wausau Morning Report with Chad Holmes: Monday, October 27

Start of a new week that looks to have a lot of sunshine thoughout. Wausau Events releases their 2026 calendar and it looks like another year of great opportunities for fun in the Wausau area. CNN’s chief visits the White House last week and then tells his staff to stop talking so much about the destruction of the East wing of the White House. We can’t count on the media, the rich, the powerful to save our democracy. Further evidence as we list the Trump scandals of the last week alone that haven’t been covered sufficiently. It will be up to the people as the powerful aren’t doing the job.
