We are in the final stretch of the Eclipse Portal and it has been a doozy!  Have you felt it this past week??

This week into the next moonth, we are deeply invited to let all the old die.  What came up for you last week?  Were you crunchy with your partner?  Dissatisfied with your work?  Disappointed with the way you've responded to life recently?  This Eclipse Portal has been all about showing us where we have given our power away and where we might benefit by shifting those choices.  The first step in returning to internal alignment is by recognizing where we are not in resonance with our life path.  Being uncomfortable, irritable, irrational and cranky are all signs we are not in alignment with ourselves.  Usually related to boundaries being crossed or not communicated.  

With the Underworld + Responsibility here we are reminded that all relationships take 2 parties... and that means we always hold a part of our dissatisfaction.  It can feel very tempting to make our happiness or safety dependent on others - and it can feel quite overwhelming to own our parts in these reclamations.  Yet the power that resides within this owning is immense.  This is not the easy road to walk... but it is an amazing one.

This shadowy message is paired here with the Rose Quartz pillar.  I LOVE this!  This crystal Being reminds us to be gentle with ourselves as we grow into our power.  The previous versions of us did the best they could with their skills at that time.  Now we know more, have more guidance, more connection, more information and more tools to support us in this life long journey of coming back home to ourselves.  There is no shame or judgement in owning our life, our satisfaction and our power!  It is a journey full of ebbs and flows... and many times we must betray ourselves in order to feel where we do NOT want to reside.  And with any mistake, the lesson is to apologize, make amends and move on.

🔻Moonday TAROT Message for NOVEMBER + Thanksgiving

Politics

The Fool

The Message this week is woven into the holiday... we have Thanksgiving coming up here in the U.S.  And this card Politics from the Osho Zen Tarot has given us a level of nuance to contemplate this week + moonth.  We are invited into feeling the truth about humans.  That we are both designed to manipulate (as in create our reality - i.e. manifestation and creation) as well as easily manipulated.  It is simple psychology and marketing and we can all learn about these topics if curiousity is sparked here today!  Our brains are so fascinating in this way!  This first card reminds us that everything outside of ourselves resides within us as well.  WE also as individuals have the ability to wear either mask - the supremely righteous "good" mask or the extremely toxic "bad" mask.  WE (as in you AND me) ALL have this potential... and if there is someone we judge for being fake or goody two shoes or selfish or whatever we are offered to opportunity to recognize that if in their place and given the exact same traumas and training and level of resources we would most likely behave in a similar fashion.  As a product of our cultural and familial programming.  

Yet these polarities are not us - they are not our soul spark.  They are the product of our animal mind doing what it does best - trying to keep us safe amidst ever more complex and nervous system overwhelming situations (such as 5G, multi level constant media and ridiculous amounts of notifications.)... our sweet bodies are consistently looking for ways to step out of the stress we are bombarded with and yet that stress seems required for modern life.  It is quite the catch-22.  So we might lend more authority or power to hierarchy or social systems that offer us a sense of safety.  We might choose work we don't enjoy (or is actually soul crushing) because of the safety promised within the benefits.  We might choose to stay in unhealthy relationships even though we know they don't serve us - yet they hold the sense of safety of the known.  So this week we are invited to sit with this idea with regards to everything in our lives.  Where do we hand away our sovereignty in exchange for some sense of normal or safe.  

Then we are supported here with The Fool card.  The Fool is the antidote to Politics.  It's where we integrate our Inner Child Essence- the magic we embodied with in this lifetime - and bring it into tour adult living.  The Fool helps us understand the Cosmic Joke!  It is all experience in this playing field.  We are here to feel, to experience, to live.  Nowhere in there were we promised safety.  This is a controversial topic.  Of course we want safety.  We all deserve to be safe.  Yet the true depth of safety occurs when we are fully empowered and in trust within ourselves.  Safety doesn't mean we never suffer, never have pain or confusion... safety means we know how to trust ourselves in responding to whatever life throws our direction.  That's it.  That is true safety.  That we are in our bodies and able to respond... because life is inherently unsafe.  Car accidents happen.  Illness happens.  Death happens.  Disasters happen.  And we can't stop this.  It is the edge that makes life FEEL!  Whether we prefer it or not... these things make life feel alive.  And I personally will always choose feeling alive over the constriction of only considering safety as the measure of a life well lived.

That feels like the Message for this week and Thanksgiving.  May they serve you well!

This Moonday the Message was very simple.

We are invited this moonth to offer some space to our knee jerk reactions.  Can we really take time to listen to others before assuming the need to protect or defend?  Can we allow ourselves the opportunity to respond from a grounded place?  The space where we know who we are, we know that all humans are messy and imperfect and we trUSt ourselves to discern if we are dealing with issues of safety or simply differences.  This is a tender moonth of being honest with ourselves over where our part lives within any conflict.

Clarity- the great catalyst.  Like the crisp Autumn air... when clarity blows in, things must change to remain in alignment.

This is such a beautiful week my loves...enJOY the space!

This moonth we have the invitation from the Great Mystery card to lean in to the unknown ever more fully and to accept that it is uncomfortable.  It's uncomfortable to not know the future.  It is uncomfortable to not be in total control of our circumstances.  Can we get comfortable in this truth?

Four of Pentacles informs us about boundaries.  That boundaries are the greatest act of self love available.  That boundaries allow relationships to be fully honest and in inteGRITy.  Boundaries have been really maligned by our culture which trains us to be martyrs and to give everything to our work or to others.  We are told it is selfish to fill our cups before we tend to others.  This is simply not true.  Boundaries allow us to remain vital - and vitality allows us to be of service.  Period.

The Lovers reminds us that we are all simply reflections of one another.  That which irritates or angers you about another also lives within you.  We are all messy humans and capable of both miraculous and dastardly things.  If you find yourself angry or frustrated this week, take notice of the particular action or trait.  Then find the root of that particular within yourself and tend to it.  Enter engagements first from a grounded, humble place... otherwise you may set yourself for a conflict that might be stemming from a victim energy rather than a compassionate space.

Be kind beloveds... we never know another's path of trauma, karma or story.  If in their place, we would most likely behave in a similar way.

We are reminded this week that the body is our vehicle and they require care and attending.  Use this week to gain clarity by listening to how you feel.  How do certain people, places, media, circumstances and choices make you feel... and follow the ones that feel right and true.

Skunk says to remember that boundaries are your birthright and they do not need to be explained or used to divide - they simply ARE.  Own your sovereign space without fear or worry.  Your vibe will attract your people and repel tose who are no longer in alignment.  Let it happen naturally.  Feel the feels and they choose your path.

4 of Wands says its been a long fucking year... let this moonth and week be a time to unplug the mind chatter and reside in the body.  Staying too tuned into the mental body is resulting in confusion because of the distortion in our collective field.  The Body holds the key... take time to listen.

This is a beautiful and tender sharing with two humans who have deep respect for each other and have been able to witness each other blossoming in the last few years.  Keath is a profound healer + mentor...I can truthfully say I would not be as I am today without his influence and support on my journey.  We hold the intention of these conversations to normalize that sometimes it is awkward relating to one another if we don't hold shared lived experience. Through curiousity and compassion, we want to hold these healing conversations as a place to be awkward, to receive education without shame... to create safe space where it's ok to make a mistake and learn from it since we are all messy humans learning together.  

One piece that particularly touched my heart was learning that many dear friends have pulled away from him during his transition due to this sense of discomfort in not knowing what to say.  The fear of doing things wrong caused a rift despite the fact that the essence of Keath as a person has not changed.  Deep compassion flooded me.

I also left this conversation feeling deep compassion for men and testosterone forward humans (unsure of the language there - I am learning! If you have a correction, please email me at [email protected]) after hearing how deeply this hormone can affect the thinking process and reaction of the person when it surges.  That the need for Initiation and learning how to wield this fire is so needed amongst these humans.  Really has me seeing my partner, my sons and even those men who have harmed me in a different way.

🌈 Moonday TAROT Message for OCTOBER 2021

Happy Moonday and almost Full Moon time!  We have a nuanced and full of feelings week and moonth as we move towards Samhain and the Death season... holding space today for the suffering we are all experiencing collectively in so many ways.  Holding space for the pain of illness, death, loss of job, loss of safety, loss of security, loss of normalcy, loss of access to joy and pleasure and thriving.  May we all begin to SEE one another in our similarities and not our differences...

This moonth is characterized with the essence of The Fool.  The not knowing.  The sensation of leaning over the abyss into the future without a clear picture of where the journey is leading us.  An invitation to remember that is always the truth, even when things seem to be going our way!  And that how we experience Great Mystery is greatly determined by how we think about Great Mystery.

The Void

This is the last week of Mercury Retrograde and we slide from waxing crescent into Quarter Moon... and the energy this week is DENSE.  And THAT"S OK!!!  We spend so much time trying to avoid the feelings and sensations we don't prefer.  We have been taught that the darker or less pleasant experiences are not as valuable, and we gaslight ourselves out of the fullness of being a messy human.  We've been robbed of our ability to simply acknowledge the murkiness and absorb the gold within these denser times in our lives.

Because let's face it - the Buddhists were on to something when they said Human life is suffering.  It's a real part of this playing field.  We are gifted desires, longings, dreams and hopes and sometimes we are met with disappointment, loss, broken hearts and death.  This is real.  And our power lies in how we show up for ourselves during these times.  Do we acknowledge the Void as simply a cave where we get to rebirth... even as we grief and rage in our pain.  Can we allow ourselves to let go of the story that these hard times never end?  ALL things end.  All things change.  All things can flow from "good" times to "bad" times in the blink of an eye. 

How do we come to a place of peace in this truth?  How do we become the eye of the storm instead of being thrashed by the storm day in and day out?

This is where our true power lives...
