I always read this card as permission for expectancy.

The seven is a reminder of Babalon, of chaos, of the truth that life is messy and often uncomfortable.  It's true - it is.

AND...

We have a birthright to believe, to think and to feel that things will change for the better.

With every ebb there is an equal flow.

With every contraction, and equivalent expansion.

With every dark moon, a full one follows...

This card reminds us to remember the cycles and to plant the seeds for what we want to grow in the dark compost of the ebb.

The remembrance to not lose sight of the gold while we are in the muck.

We have the capacity to hold both... and in doing so, we increase our ability to be with hard times in grace.

This week we dove into the discomfort around the unknown and a great mystery.

In particular for the week beginning May 9, 2022.

This week we are at quarter moon as well as the midway point of the eclipse portal and we are giving space to breathe and to have any conversations that might be activating or triggering for us.

The card that holds us this week is the 10 of Pentacles. This card speaks to completion and to being honest with the ways in which we may be complicit in the martyr!

This week is an excellent time to assess and re-organize your choices. Are you behaving from a thread of obligation or are you truly operating through the spirit of generosity and clean boundaries?

No one can decide this truth for you. We each must do the work to get honest with all the ways in which we might behaving in order to people please and make others happy instead of ourselves.

No shame or judgment! This is simply the week to do some deep self inquiry and start making different choices!

This week is SO exciting with Beltane, the Dark Moon, and the first Eclipse Portal of 2022 beckoning us into May...

This moonth is all about leaning into the places where we may have developed complacency and releasing ourselves from habitual ways of being that no longer serve.

This first week in particular is quite poignant with this potent Eclipse portal that begins in Taurus and ends in Scorpio. We are being called in to look at themes revolving around our body, sensuality, power, emotional depth and all the ways in which we might avoid these topics because they can be quite uncomfortable.

We have been graced with The Lovers card as the medicine for this week. A gentle reminder that we can always look at our lives and our external environment to give us clues as to where we might be avoiding doing our spiritual work and supporting ourselves in our soul evolution.

I invite you to offer yourself supreme compassion this week as the energy is running flush and we all need to tend our sweethearts as momentum builds and pulses us into the summer. There is no shame or judgment when Eclipse season rolls around. It is an opportunity for all of us to reassess and re-organize and come back into alignment!

This week has some deep and penetrative energy arriving and I am here for it!

We have Dark Moon arriving this Saturday along with the opening of an Eclipse Portal centered in Taurus and Scorpio.  This week is a honey drip into this portal where we will be exploring themes around comfort, the body, deep feelings and all the taboo topics of sexuality and power.

This week we have been graced with the Eight of Swords, which is a beautiful bookend to the opening of the moonth where we started with the Eight of Pentacles.

This week we are invited to consider the difference between the commitments and obligations we have in our lives.

Where do we have reciprocity in our commitments?

Where do we hold obligations that don't feed us?

How will we come back into alignment with these two concepts?
